When any of the following indications lights or
flashes, confirm the condition of the Movie
Camera.
3: Condensation has occurred.

Y: The erasure prevention slider of the
inserted cassette is open (set to
[SAVE]).
Audio dubbing was attempted on
an unrecorded (blank) part of the
tape.
No cassette is inserted. (p. 12)
6: The Battery is discharged. Charge

:: The video heads are dirty. (p. 26)
2END: During recording, the tape has
reached its end.
REMOTE: Wrong Remote Controller Mode is

PRINTER ERROR:
The Video Printer is not connected
correctly, or there is some trouble

UNPLAYABLE TAPE (OTHER FORMAT):
Playback was attempted on a part
of a tape recorded in a different
television system.
UNABLE TO A. DUB (LP RECORDED):
Audio dubbing is not possible
because the original recording was
made in the LP Mode.
INCOMPATIBLE TAPE:
The cassette is incompatible.
CARD FULL:
There is not enough memory left on
the Card.
NO CARD: There is no Card inserted.
NO PICTURE:
There are no pictures recorded on
the Card.
CARD ERROR:
The Card is not compatible with the
Movie Camera. (p. 77)
COPY INHIBITED:
The medium is copy-guarded, making it
impossible to record pictures properly.
CHANGE TO 640k480:
Titles cannot be displayed. Set to the
[640k480] Mode to display titles. (p. 78)
D Sound Volume (p.

Use this indication to adjust the volume of the
playback sound from the built-in speaker or
headphones.
E Short-Cut Menus
Short-cut menus enable some of the Card
Playback Mode Menus to be called quickly.
Press the [PUSH] Dial to display the short-cut
menus, and turn the [PUSH] Dial to select the
desired menu.
PICTURE SEARCH:
The [PICTURE SEARCH] Menu for
searching pictures from numbers
appears. (p. 77)
ERASE PICTURE:
The [ERASE PICTURE] Menu for
erasing the displayed picture appears.
(p. 82) Use this menu after the picture to
be erased has appeared.
FILE LOCK:
The [FILE LOCK] Menu to prevent the
accidental erasure of the displayed
picture (lock setting) appears. (p. 84)
Use this menu after the picture to be
locked has appeared.
DPOF SETTING:
The [DPOF SETTING] Menu for
performing the DPOF settings for the
displayed picture appears. (p. 86) Use
this menu after the picture whose DPOF
settings are to be performed has
appeared.
EXIT: This is for exiting from the short-cut
menu.
